Dr. Hamidian earned the B.S. Degree in Communication Disorders from Marywood University and the M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Bloomsburg University. She has also earned the Psy. D. Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has experience in providing speech and language services to persons with communication disorders and she is a practitioner in the application of Cognitive Behavior Therapy to treat a wide array of psychological and parenting issues in her work with individuals, families and caregivers. Dr. Hamidian served in the Wayne County Consortium as a Speech Language Pathologist and treated children with various communication disorders. She continues to consult with public and private schools in the area of Communication Disorders and now integrates behavioral approaches to improve the social, communication and academic functioning of children. She also works within the birth to three Early Intervention program helping families and their children function better in their every day natural routines. In her work with business professionals, Dr. Hamidian helps clients set and achieve goals for success. Her corporate seminars focus on performance enhancement in the workplace and stress management in addition to improving work relationships and productivity. In her work with families, Dr. Hamidian helps families function more effectively by helping caregivers identify family goals and helping them follow through on their individual family/parenting plan. She also utilizes the 123 Magic program as part of her family therapy program. |
